The peninsula Vižula, located in the very center of Medulin, has an important archaeological value. It features a cultural and historical heritage of fascinating beauty and simply causes you to travel back in time. The Archaeological Park provides an insight into the daily life of the ancient Romans. It contains the remains of the rooms in which they stayed, their bathing complexes, an ancient villa built during the reign of the Emperor Augustus to Constantine the Great. If you are interested in art, here you can see the rooms with mosaic floors, marble walls, wall frescoes, capitals, columns and architectural decorations, as well as bronze, glass and ceramic objects. Along the promenade, there are tables with motifs from the life of the ancient Romans, their entertainment customs, fishing and so on.
